Lisa A. Moore: Author of Whimsy, Shadows, and Secrets

Lisa A. Moore doesn’t just write stories—she conjures worlds where the ordinary collides with the extraordinary. Her novel, Whispers of the Selkie, launched January 2025, drawing readers into a mist-shrouded tale of selkie folklore and family secrets. Known for her sharp wit and intricate plots, Lisa specializes in urban fantasy, psychological thrillers, and the occasional gothic detour. The second book in the series, Song of the Drowned, will be released mid/late 2025. 

When she’s not weaving tales of magic and mystery, Lisa enjoys splashing vibrant watercolors, chasing after her energetic pup Violette, and finding creative excuses to explore the Scottish Highlands—virtually or otherwise.

Lisa’s other works include The Bet in Nocturne Alley (a gothic dark fantasy), The Haunting of Crumbleton Manor (a paranormal comedy). With a knack for blending the eerie and the enchanting, Lisa’s stories promise to captivate readers with their humor, heart, and spellbinding twists.
